As your confidence develops, you’ll learn how to use the gears effectively on hills, at junctions, in traffic and in different road conditions.

There’s no need to worry if you don’t get it right straight away. Everyone learns at a different pace, and a good instructor will break the process down into manageable steps, helping you understand what you’re doing rather than simply telling you what to do.
