Firstly – Who says that you are struggling with the gears ?? Is it you or your Instructor ?
Unless you have been told by a Driving Instructor that you may be better trying lessons in an automatic you are better remaining with the Manual car and the gears.
many Learners come to us who make this statement and then after an assessment we find that they have no issues.
Many Learners have had the usage of the gears and clutch explained incorrectly.
Have you been in a situation where the car has rolled back at a junctions ?
Have you been in a situation where you are constantly stalling the car ?
IF SO : This is not a sign of issues with the gear and clutch.
A competent Driving Instructor WILL NEVER let the car roll back or stall unless it was intended for teaching purpose.
So stop doubting yourself and think about the Driving Instructor that you had was he / she really that good !!! or have they instilled the fears of the dreaded GEAR and CLUTCH
